sometimes, i really wished that i could just sit on your shoulders again and live my life in constant fascination , knowing that i can have complete faith that you will protect me, and tell me everything i needed to know. Going back to that time when i was actually afraid to die because i felt that i would not, as long as i listened. Maybe at one point of my life when i actually believed that what people painted for me was real, I was glad for the things that i had, because everyone wanted the same things of me, and i was not torn apart by different opinions and expectations. there never was a dichotomy between what was right and what wasn't. not anymore anyway. I am only left with fading memories and whatever nostalgia i can muster, would they bear to take it away from me too?

I should think so, Should i not? afterall, I always learnt to expect the worse deep down.
